We've laid the foundation for innovation in our educational programs by investing in research programs, recruiting new faculty members, and aligning our campus management practices. The Institute for Sustainable Technology and Development (ISTD) supports the long-term transformation of Georgia Tech's academic programs by conducting curriculum studies and pilot projects, disseminating information on courses related to sustainability, and creating exciting opportunities for faculty and students to learn more about sustainability in context.
Since we believe the creation of a more prosperous and sustainable society is everyone's responsibility, our curriculum innovation effort is geared towards educating every student through general studies and through in-depth study in the major degree program.
